Jo’s Loaves will become PROVING PETE’s on the 1st Feb!! I am finally passing the baton on to the next generation and I couldn’t be more excited that my business will not only endure, it will be taken care of by the most remarkable young talent I could ever wish for. Peter brings an infectious passion for real food, real bread and a genuine personable quality that I know you will love. It has been such a pleasure to work with him these last couple of months and with hand on heart, I feel my little dream bakery is going to be reborn. I am anticipating that my last 2 weekends (31st my last day!) will be pretty emotional and I may want to leap the counter and hug you all for your amazing support – some of you since I started, nearly 15 years ago. Just find my personal page on fb if you want to stay in touch beyond the bread- or indeed if you’ve any funky ideas as to what I should do next! (Open to offers!). And best of all, Pete will be re-instating Wednesday through to Saturday opening hours, so no excuses for running out of real bread!
